working

The Local agent at the same port receives the query entered by the Client at that port and it parses the input query to form a new constraint check query. The Local agent identifies the sites affected by the query with the help of global Meta database and invokes the Remote agents at the corresponding sites i.e. ports. The remote agent at various sites establishes database connection, executes the query and returns the value obtained. Based on the value returned the Local agent tells whether the constraint is violated or not. If there is no violation of constraints then the Local Agent invokes the remote agent at the site containing the affected tables and updates the database at the corresponding sites.
