This is the second part in the implementation and is really innovative and important.It is also a bit complex for new comers.The distributed database is spread across the various sites in the figure namely site 1, site 2…site n. The names of the various sites having the database are updated in the global Meta database initially. The global Meta database also stores a port number for the each of the remote sites containing the database. At each site the Tahiti server is run with the corresponding port number. The default port number for Tahiti server is 4434.The Client occupies a separate machine at another site. Each port has two agents:

· Local Agent-it is found in the client and server

· Remote Agent-found in server only
