4.2.2. DATA UPDATER
Aglets are used to design the Database Updater. The Database Updater first identifies the various sites involved by interacting with the Global Metadatabase. It then constructs the constraint optimization table. Then it checks whether the various constraints are satisfied or not. If the constraints are not violated then the databases are updated at the corresponding sites. It then displays the result whether the databases are updated or not.
4.2.3. REMOTE DATABASE
These are the databases that are affected by the Global Query. These sites are identified by the remote agent running in the client by interacting with the Global Metadatabase.
These sites are then used by the Data Updater to construct the constraint optimization table. Using these tables only the sequence in which the constraints should be checked are determined. Then finally if no constraints are
